Hello! I'm Jielin

I recently graduated from the University of Ottawa. There, I’ve learned and indulged with Management information systems and analytics. With respect to the power of information and data, I am longing to pursue a master's degree in information and data science-related fields.

Today, we have been exposed to too much information, and almost everything we do leaves a trail of digital exhaust. The vast ocean of data can precisely complete the picture of us, where we live, where we go, what we buy, and what we say. I concur that big data is being described as the planetary nervous system. Thus, If data science is one of the essential laws by which the world works, I desire to get closer to the discipline so that I can take advantage of its good, and fight against the evil it brings along.

Utilized Excel VBA to establish a user rating system to rate the corporate’s partners, by divided the clients in recent 10 years into individuals and companies, finally built up a Uber-style partner rating system

Processed the financial summary sheet of the headquarter in Ottawa and visualized it to the Vice President

Used Excel VBA and Word VBA to process a mass of local files such as contracts and reports and update them to SharePoint

Used HTML to Maintain Internal website and system on SharePoint

Built standardized consultants' CVs by utilizing the SharePoint function on Bench Strength to collect the consultants’ information and creating CV templates apply to different regions with Macro Word, greatly helped the consultants improve the efficiency of preparing a proposal
